The Kitty Drama
Notes:#
คนไทยใช้แปลภาษาเลย ไม่อยากมาพิมพ์ไทย :p
I was planning to post this after M.4, once the Gifted and DS classrooms are more separated, but at this point, who cares?
Please note: there are no chat logs included here. They were either lost, deleted, or could not be exported (due to Signal’s privacy features). I’m not trying to be secretive; there is simply nothing left to export. This all happened about six months ago, so some finer details may have been forgotten.
This post is not written from a neutral point of view. For context on neutrality, see WP:NPOV in English or in Thai.
Note: Klaus (whom I usually write as “Clause”) is spelled correctly in this post.
If you haven’t been living under a rock, you probably know that Kitty and I are not on good terms. It was a chain of events that drove me insane to the point of ending the relationship entirely.
The Beginning#
It started back when the old lunch group still gathered near the cafe; I used to eat there regularly. Kitty would sometimes drop into the group (likely because her friends were there and I was just a “side character” at the time).
One day, I decided to try to befriend her, so I DMed her shop account (I didn’t know her personal account yet). She replied, we talked for a bit, and she eventually gave me her personal account.
The Shift#
Things were fine for the most part, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. However, around the two-thirds mark, I noticed things starting to go downhill. This was around the time she started crushing on her current boyfriend (though I didn’t know she had a crush at the time).
She stopped talking to me as much and started selfishly telling me that I was “still in good hands” with her. When I finally brought this up, she admitted she hadn’t been telling the truth the whole time and was only saying things to keep me from leaving. I was pretty furious after that.
We somehow went back to “normal,” but my mind was screaming that this was going to end badly. I felt like I was in a situation where if she was going to dump our friendship for a crush, I would just dump the friendship first.
The Breaking Point#
I knew for a fact that her getting closer to her crush was affecting our dynamic. Eventually, I decided to block her because my mental state was deteriorating due to her behavior.
After I blocked her, she asked Klaus to reach out to me just to say “fuck you” on her behalf. I found it pathetic and blocked Klaus as well.
The Confrontation#
Nothing happened for about three months. Then, during a random lunch break, Kitty tried to get my attention by calling my name. I ignored the first few calls, but I eventually caved.
She didn’t explain herself, resolve the drama, or say anything useful. Instead, she said something along the lines of: “Stop talking shit to my boyfriend or I’ll ruin your reputation with the girls in Room 1,” and then she just walked away.
Present Day#
So, here we are. I’m posting this a month ahead of my original M.4 plan.
I’ll say this: she is by far the worst person I have ever met. She has driven me to the brink of insanity. The only person who comes close is Aya, who single-handedly ruined my reputation.
Judging by the tone of the message Klaus sent, she likely has a very different version of this story. Whichever side you choose to believe isn’t my concern—if you take her side, that’s your risk to manage.
This drama is over. I will not seek or accept any further contact with her again.
A friendship built on lies is like building a house on sand, no matter how much you try to hold it together, it crumbles. Fake promises and false hopes swirl around me like a storm I can’t escape, yet I stay silent. I keep everything to myself, letting it fester. Sometimes, it’s almost a cruel kind of entertainment to look into your eyes when you’re lying. I see it so clearly. You think you’re painting a masterpiece, but all I see are the cracks in your facade. Do you really believe I don’t know?
It hurts, god, it hurts. Every lie cuts deeper, like tiny paper cuts you don’t even notice until they sting. You think you’re sparing me, but are you really sparing me, or is it just easier for you? Are these lies for my sake, or are they your way of brushing off guilt, of avoiding the weight of accountability? You’re not protecting me, you’re building a web of falsehoods to protect yourself.
You lie to keep me in your life, to hide who you really are. But the truth is, I’d rather see the real you, even if it means learning I don’t matter as much as I thought. At least then I’d know. At least then I could move on, like a bird released from a cage it didn’t even realize it was trapped in. But no, instead you’ve kept me in this illusion, dangling me by threads of deceit, selfishly hoping I won’t see the truth and leave.
Your lies aren’t white lies, they’re shadows in the corners of a room. They creep, they linger, and they grow darker with every unspoken truth. You think logic can sweep them away, but emotions aren’t something you can reason through. Your excuses are just smoke and mirrors, and I’m done being the fool staring into the haze, hoping to see something real.
You could have been honest, you could have let me go, but instead, you’ve chosen to hold on with false promises, like gripping sand and wondering why it slips through your fingers. It’s not okay. I’m not just a name on your list of friends, I’m someone with feelings, someone who deserves honesty.
I hope one day you realize that keeping someone through lies isn’t love or friendship, it’s selfishness, and selfishness destroys everything it touches.
